As the sun began shining
Outside the misty windows,
In a numb winter morning,
Stealing from my soul, its cold shadows…
.
Outside the misty windows,
Warm rays kissed my gloomy eyes,
Stealing from my soul, its cold shadows,
Along with birds, butterflies…
.
Warm rays kissed my gloomy eyes,
Heart dancing on melodies within,
Along with birds, butterflies..
Its sparkle amusing my pale skin..
.
Heart dancing on melodies within,
In a numb winter morning..
Its sparkle amusing my pale skin,
As the sun began shining…!

It’s a pantoum, a form of poetry..
What’s a Pantoum…?
A Malaysian verse form adapted by French poets and occasionally imitated in English. It comprises a series of quatrains, with the second and fourth lines of each quatrain repeated as the first and third lines of the next. The second and fourth lines of the final stanza repeat the first and third lines of the first stanza.
It has a rhyme scheme of abab in first stanza and bcbc in second and the final stanza has zaza rhyme scheme..
So the last and first line of the poem are same..!
